Hi Friends!!!

This is a soundboard recording from our show in Gothenburg, Sweden at the legendary venue Pustervik.

I have always been hesitant to release live recordings. That moment of shared experience is so special in my life. Well...hearing this recording changed my mind:)

My goal as an artist/band these days is try and channel as close to the source as possible or to paraphrase Quincy Jones, “save some room for god”. This particular warm summer night in Sweden...that's exactly what happened. This isn't a pristine audio recording and thats why I love it. Oaks shows have. never been pristine, they breathe and sweat (and occasionally forget a lyric or two). You can hear us laugh, stomp our pedals, tune our guitars, dance around the stage…it truly feels like I’m transported back to that night.

This is also a fun opportunity to share my Dutch band with everybody who hasn't gotten to see us live. We have worked very hard for years at fine tuning these songs. I hope you can hear and feel the love that we share as friends and musicians radiating through the speakers.

Since I haven’t played many shows this year I want to offer this as a gift to all my beautiful fans out there. Pass this around if you want, play it outside sitting with friends, chilling while cooking dinner, headphones at the gym, a particularly existential yoga session, WHATEVER YOU WANT.

New record on the horizon and hopefully many more adventures together. Thank you for being such a wonderful community and your support throughout the years.

Would like to thank Kim/Woody West and everyone at Pustervik for providing so many wonderful memories and shows over the years. You are family.
